When getting started with Remittance-as-a-Service, one question that we get often is what is offered in the standard package?
In the standard offering or any advance offering, the API (or Application Programming Interface) is offered by default. You do not pay any extra charge for the API.
So, at the very minimum, you get the API or the application programming interface, which you can then use to consume to develop/code into your front-end UI and UX, which stands for user interface and user experience.
With the API, you essentially code your own client face application. This can be a mobile app or web app, or both.
In addition to the API, you can also opt for a web version. This is the white label web application provided by the solution provider which can be branded to a very limited extent, in your name.
The reason the web application is offered is that if you want to go live in the market ASAP, but you don’t have the time to finish developing your own app (using the API), you can use their white-label web app in the meantime and go live with your service launch.
As with the web app, there is also a mobile app that you can use. Again, the same set of conditions apply, it is a white-labeled branded mobile app in your name with limited features and sets. And again, it can be offered to your clients such that until such time that your mobile app is ready.
In conclusion, the API is offered for free. If you want to get a web app that is offered to you at an additional cost. If you want a mobile app that is offered to you at an additional cost. And if you want both of them, which is the web app and the mobile app, you can have them both or you can choose one or you can choose neither and simply work with the API itself.
